A DEMAND TO 7th CENTRAL PAY COMMISSION(CPC)-CHILD CARE LEAVE(CCL) FOR MALE GOVT EMPLOYEES-

We know that a lot of anomalies pending in front of National Anomaly Committee.Few of them were solved and remaining anomalies will be discussed in the next NAC  meeting.Even though central govt announced 7th CPC.It is a amicable news for CG employees.This is the time to speak out the problems we faced in 6th CPC through social media and blogs.Child Care Leave is one of the important issue to male central government employees.

To be in synchronised pattern with the Fastidious modern world and to fulfil a family's basic needs such as begetting good education for their child's fruitful future it becomes at most necessity that both the husband and wife should earn for their family.

The reality of high priced commodities which the common man can relish only in his dreams. The mountanious rise of land value which acts as a ardent barrier for fulfilling one own dream home,the dizziness caused by cost of rental houses and finally the enormous increase to gigantic proportion  of the fees paid to schools for getting a decent education to their children-These force and make it definite that both the life partners should earn to make both ends meet.

In this economic warfare the grave truth  is that the children who should be in the warmth and care of their parents spend and shove their time in the company of electronic gadgets

During important moments i.e  the childs ill health , the childs important examination days the 6th pay commission has paved way for the mother to be by the childs sideby, the introduction of the plan known as CCL it has been whole heartedly welcomed by one and all .

Having borne in its mind that todays childcare the sculptors of tomorrows modern india, the central government has given this CCL which is a formidable concession

Of the couples who got towork to earn their living ,those of them who are both central govt employees are very few.

In certain families the husband will be a central govt employee while the wife may work in a private firm.
In some others the husband may work in a private firm  while his spouse may work in a central govt institution

   For instance let us keep in mind that the husband is a central govt employee and his wife workes in a private institution  the critend is that they would not reap the beneath of CCL as it as certained only to the female central govt employee.

We are all very well aware that the children need the warmth and care of both parents in equal measures.If it is so why then the central govt has not alloted CCL for their male employees.

During pregnancy time the female central govt employee are given maternity leave On similar basis the male employees are given paternity leave.This seems to be acceptable to a certain extent.But [to say frankly] the allotment of CCL only to the female central govt employee is not acceptable.

It is the same payment for same work for both the female and male employees in a central govt institution.Similarly the concessions given should be in common for both of them.If a female employee is given two years CCL the male employee also can be given nearly the same if not equal.

There are grounds on which a male central govt employee loses his wife or he diverses why hasn't the govt not taken in to consideration the condition of their children.Henceforth ccl should be given to the male central govt employees though certain conditions can be imposed. Only then the reason for which this concession (ccl) has been introduced could be realised  to it full extent.

SO SINGLE, DIVORCEE AND WIDOW MALESSHOULD GET CHILD CARE LEAVE.THERE ARE INSTANCES IN MY ORGANISATION WHERE LADIES CENTRAL GOVT.EMPLOYEES TAKE CCL AND GO ON HOLIDAYS IN VISITING PLACES FOR ENJOYING. AND ASTONISHINGLY WHAT CHILD CARE IS NEEDED WHEN CHILDREN ARE 15,16 ,17, AND 18 YEARS OLD?BY THIS TIME THEY ARE SELF-DEPENDENT.

There is a huge gap in the salary and facilities of a govt employee having Pay Band-1 and employee having Pay Band -4 in India. It clearly shows that employees having Pay Band -4 are masters and employee having Pay Band -1 are slaves in India and we are following the rules of GULAM BHARAT of BRITISH era in India. If a employee having Pay Band-1 cannot do the work of a employee having Pay Band-4 then it is also hard truth that employee having Pay Band-4 can not do the work of a employee having Pay Band-1. We acknowledge the work done by the employee having Pay Band-4 but work done by the employee having Pay Band-1 also should be acknowledged. We should have a right of equality as per our constitution. We all collectively should think and work sincerely about this matter and we must approach to the 7th pay commission and government (who always talk to minimize difference between RICH AND POOR) to minimize the salary gap between highest paid employee and lowest paid employee of Govt of India. All are requested to write views on this matter.

This is reference to the issue of granting CCL for Male Govt Employee. I agree fully support it. Apart from the ibid issue I would like to bring attention to all Central Govt Employees such as CCGHS and CEA, wherein nobody is interested even to bother. All the Confederation should come under one umbrella and demand for a legitimate case. CEA should be Fixed Allce and CGHS Scheme (Health & Education)should be implemented sooner which is long pending with GoI since the implementation of 6th Pay Commission.

CCL for male govt. employees is very much logical. Only mother can take care of her child is not acceptable. Both parents may take care of their child. Hence, Male govt. employees also permitted to take CCL at per the same condition that of female govt. employees. However, where both father and mother are govt. employees then either one can take the leave as per their choice. Further, there are some posts where in promotion, the employee come under probation period. As per existing rule CCL is not permissible during Probation period. I think it is also require to review. Only, in case of first employment, employee may not be allowed to avail CCL during the period of probation.

well said sir. CCL should also be made applicable to the male employees of the central government. Jovially, I used to tell to my colleagues that CCL should also be allowed to the male employees. But now I am glad to see this write-up requesting CCL for the male employees. We support you sir. Confederation also should come forward with this idea. Paternity leave should be increased to one month.

I completely agree. It is also infringement of our fundamental right of equality with respect to equal work-equal pay... The male employees have been neglected in this aspect grossly.

Sir,

I want to draw your kind attention towards child care leave (CCL) given to female employee in 6th pay commission. In the offices there is a anomaly that when all female take CCL then all work of them is given to the male. Such the quality of work is effected and male tires very soon so that he can not look after his children at his home. Since the duration of leave are big so doing so work for male is very difficult. In this connection, I request pls. either remove CCL in 7th pay commission or arrange other female to do her work.

To what extent it is justified to grant ccl to employees with pay.if average salary of an employee is Rs 40000/- she will avail ccl for two year either reqired or not and get Rs960000/ for doing nothing.if it is consider necessay being a welfare it should be granted without pay so that only the needy person will avail it without keeping any diffrence of sex.
